Brett Boon has experience in and is available to assist you in various legal specialties ranging from complex litigation to transactional matters. Brett’s primary areas of expertise are real estate and environmental litigation, including a wide range of issues relative to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and California State Superfund law; among others. In doing so, Brett has worked on cases that led to cleanup and abatement of some of California’s largest contamination plumes.
Brett has represented individuals, business entities, and business owners. He has also argued for and against large insurance companies and has repeatedly negotiated, litigated, and resolved disputes with prestigious law firms throughout California.
Brett gained priceless legal training and knowledge while working for larger firms, which laid the groundwork for a successful legal career. However, Brett has always had the ambition to own and operate his own law practice. Fortunately, Craig Benner shared this dream, and after years learning from experienced litigators they decided to team up and pursue their goals together. Craig and Brett share a tireless work ethic and extremely competitive nature, traits that truly flourish in the legal setting.
Brett grew up in a small town in Michigan. He then attended Arizona State University and Iona College as an undergraduate, playing quarterback at each institution and earned Pac-10 All-Academic Team honors while at Arizona State. Thereafter, Brett earned his law degree from California Western School of Law.
In his free time, Brett enjoys taking advantage of San Diego’s beautiful outdoors, preferably on the golf course, in the water, or hiking with his black lab, Duke
